Mike Mason (American football)
:''For the baseball player, see Mike Mason (baseball)''.
Mike Mason (born February 28, 1985 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina) is an American football wide receiver who was signed briefly by the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Mason was signed on May 3, 2007; he was waived on August 28, 2007 after three preseason games.
He was signed as an undrafted free agent after completing his college career at Tennessee State. Mason, along with Adarius Bowman and Jesse Holley, was part of the so-called "Big Three" highly rated wide receivers in 2003. Out of those three, only Holley made it through his senior season at UNC.
Mason is most known for having exceptional speed. He also set the school record for wide receivers in the power clean (320 lbs.) and the 40 yard dash (4.24s).
